Different types of dementia and major depression

Two mental health problems in older adulthood are the different types of dementia and major depression. Have any older adults in your family background experienced mental health problems as adults?

If so, which mental health problems? If they have experienced mental health problems, what were the likely causes of the problems? Explain your answer.

What are the two differences between dementia and depression?
Here are the differences: Depression develops faster than dementia (dementia takes weeks or months to develop). Despite memory lapses, those with depression will be able to remember something when asked. Impaired judgment in those with depression is usually caused by a lack of concentration.
