Being in a position of leadership comes with a certain amount of power and responsibility to advocate for inequities and unfairness in educational structures. It may come down to you to stand up for cultures that are underrepresented in your school. Cultural responsiveness moves beyond representation to change a status quo that leaves students behind who are outside of the mean.
